Nine years after the passage of DSHEA, it seems the hope of receiving current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) for dietary supplements may be well within the industry’s grasp, according to FDA. On January 16 the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approved cGMPs, and at press time were set to appear in the Federal Register as a proposed rule for public comment.
